Ottawa–Gatineau based Photographer, Visual Artist, and Web Creative, Martin specializes in portrait, editorial, corporate, and conceptual photography, with a strong focus on visual storytelling and brand identity.

Origins

Martin began his photography journey in the mid-1990s, developing black-and-white film and printing his own work in a darkroom. His passion for imagery led him to formal studies in photography, graduating in 2002, and working alongside established photographers early in his career.

Over the years, he built a diverse portfolio in portrait, fashion, editorial, and commercial photography, developing a distinctive style—colorful, authentic, and minimally retouched—focused on emotion, narrative, and real human presence.

Alongside photography, Martin expanded his creative practice into web development and digital content creation, blending visual design, coding, and digital storytelling to craft strong online visual identities.

He is also a visual artist and painter, creating large-format portrait paintings that explore character, presence, and human expression through bold colors and textures.

Today & Beyond

Today, Martin continues to evolve as a multidisciplinary creative, combining photography, painting, and digital design to create meaningful visual experiences. His goal is to help individuals, creators, and organizations communicate their message through strong, authentic visuals and engaging digital content—transforming ideas into compelling narratives that connect with people.
